Just embarking on a new project at the studio - painting a fresco on the ceiling, inspired by Psalm 19:
I'm going to be painting a cloudy, starlit sky, in the style of my paintings with a centre piece being an ornate ceiling rose, depicting the sun, and some sort of chandelier lighting system.
Found this fantastic guy via Ebay of all places, who produces stunning pieces:

I'm thinking of using this ceiling rose, draped with bulbs, crystals and leaves, set against a chalky mat black ceiling and painted stars and orbs, and the text of inspiring scripture:
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

A Shoppers Review, by Monna Young
Treasures in a City are easy to miss, especially if you're in a hurry. Little shops with their shelves laden with unusual goodies and bargains often get lost in the everyday hustle and bustle of life and droves of large convenience stores. But, if you have the time or inclination, many a hideaway can be explored, and their delightful cache revealed.
Likewise, Daniel Laurence Home & Garden is one of these, it's position nestling conviniently next to steps leading into the South Lanes off the Brighton's beach front promenade, along the Kings Road Arches. It's adjoined by the charming, vintage Carousel, one of Brighton's most iconic attractions, where one of the nations favourite dishes, Fish and Chips, can be enjoyed, and bordered by two of the most famous piers in the UK - the vibrant and colourful Brighton Pier on the left and the picturesque but tragically charred frame of the once spectacular and historic West Pier on the right - both framed by a glistening, emerald English Channel.
Founded in the 1800's, the Kings Road Arches is a special and unique place, historically past and present, from fishermen, fish markets and their vital trade in the 19th, and 20th century, to a bustling array of bars, shops and restaurants today. Daniel Laurence Home & Garden is situated in amongst the galleries and studios of what is now known as The Artists Quarter of this area of the City.
When one enters Daniel Laurence Home & Garden one enters a different world, into a tunnel of eclectric delights, from paintings and prints which take the viewer from the depths of the ocean to the highest heavens, while elegant, retro clocks grace the shelves and are joined by regal statues, gorgeous, antique wooden collectables and other exquisite accessories and gifts, displayed on handmade tables, while gazed down on by magestic lamps and hanging decorations.
A spectacular array of delights, virtually bursting at the seams, await you at Daniel Laurence Home & Garden, making this a veritable gem and unique sanctum of the unusual, and a wonderful destination for locals and visitors alike.
